An Elegant Black and White Wedding in Colorado Springs

We loved working with our beautiful brides, Lauren and Adena, to bring their elegant black-and-white wedding vision to life at The Lodge at Cathedral Pines in Colorado Springs. Set against towering pines and the lodge's warm wood architecture, their celebration struck a perfect balance between timeless sophistication and modern edge.

From the start, Lauren and Adena were drawn to a classic black-and-white palette, allowing clean lines, contrast, and intentional details to take center stage. This refined color story felt especially striking within the natural surroundings, where dark wood tones and soft forest light provided an organic backdrop to the crisp design.

The bridal bouquets were a standout detail. Each featured large Phalaenopsis orchids paired with anemones, creating a sculptural, modern look that elevated the traditional white bouquet. The cascading orchids added drama and movement, while the anemones with their bold black centers reinforced the monochromatic theme in a way that felt graphic and contemporary. The result was effortlessly chic and perfectly aligned with the couple’s vision.

The wedding party styling further emphasized the bold elegance of the day.
