Michaela & Mike
This modern all-white wedding was a refined reimagining of a timeless classic. Set against the lush, layered greenery of the Denver Botanic Gardens, Michaela and Mike’s celebration embraced a monochromatic palette that felt both elevated and quietly bold. Rather than relying on tradition alone, the design focused on texture, form, and movement. This allows white florals to feel expressive, dimensional, and anything but expected.
Dozens of bright white floral varieties were thoughtfully layered throughout the design to create depth within the single-color palette. Soft, cloud-like blooms were paired with larger florals like King Protea, creating contrast through shape rather than color. This intentional mix added a contemporary edge while maintaining the softness and romance associated with an all-white wedding aesthetic.
The ceremony arbor served as the focal point of the design, acting as both an architectural statement against the greenery of the surrounding gardens. Designed to feel sculptural yet classic, the arbor framed the couple beautifully, allowing them to be the focal point. Additional arrangements echoed this approach, carrying the same balance of structure and ease throughout the ceremony and reception.
What made this design particularly striking was the dialogue between the florals and the venue itself. The crisp white palette stood in stunning contrast to the deep greens of the Denver Botanic Gardens, allowing each element to enhance the other. The result was a setting that felt serene, modern, and timeless. This wedding stands proof that simplicity, when executed with intention, can be deeply impactful.
This wedding was a celebration of detail, where every floral choice was made with purpose. By focusing on variety, texture, and thoughtful composition, the all-white design became a study in quiet luxury, elegant, fresh, and uniquely personal to Michaela and Mike.
