Colorado Campground Wedding Inspiration at Windy Point

“Speechless” is how we felt every moment of this precious couple’s Colorado campground wedding. They transformed Windy Point Campground’s pavilion into a one-of-a-kind destination.

One of our favorite parts was the integration of ferns in their wedding decor. Love Letters Floral created a cascading altarpiece, garland down the community tables, and drop-dead-gorgeous bouquets. When thinking of a Colorado campground wedding one wouldn’t think of ferns. But despite the initial judgment, they enhanced the Windy Point Campground Wedding Pavilion and drew in the natural landscape.

Another standout detail was the playful layering of natural elements. From a greenery-adorned arch to rustic wooden accents, every element felt intentional yet relaxed, perfectly complementing the natural Colorado surroundings. Twinkling string lights hung overhead, casting a warm, magical glow as the sun set behind the mountains and the lake. These details, combined with the lush ferns and vibrant florals, made the pavilion feel both elevated and intimate; a true reflection of the couple’s vision for their one-of-a-kind campground wedding.

We also loved the personal touch of rice krispy treats at their dessert bar. The Cake Maker created these delicious treats because the bride’s tradition is to eat a rice krispy treat before any big event and it brings her good luck. We’d say it worked again!

Since you are drooling anyway, I’ll share about the scrumptious food. Occasions Catering provided a hot buffet of Colorado cuisine for all the guests. Without electricity or running water at Windy Point Campground’s Wedding Pavilion, I’d say this is a miracle!
