A Charming Spring Wedding

Our first wedding of the season was a couple of weeks ago, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect beginning! Getting to know this beautiful couple was such an honor, our love cup was overflowing after their wedding day!

With only a touch of wind blowing through, it was a perfect spring day in Colorado Springs for a wedding! The day started in the amphitheater at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, which has a perfect view of the Springs and plains of Colorado. The ceremony was beautiful and truly touching, as the couple was married by their pastor that they’ve known for years. The guests shared laughs as the horns from the troops at Fort Carson were played.

After the newlyweds shared their first kiss and were introduced to their guests, everyone gathered their belongings and headed to The Mining Exchange for reception. The history of the hotel speaks through the walls and the second you step foot inside, you can see the sophisticated charm in the architecture and details. The chatter in the room quieted as the DJ introduced the couple in to dinner. The first dance as a married couple was a magical moment and the entire room smiled as they sang to each other. The remainder of reception was filled was so much laughter and energy as all of the guests celebrated.

We left at the end of the event feeling so happy for the couple and excited for their new adventure together! We wish them the most happiness as this new chapter in their life together unfolds. Here are some photos for you to enjoy of their special moments, captured by Ash Durham Photography!
